This API queries live blockchain data of an address/account, the balance, transactions associated with the address/account and details of those transactions.

API rate limit

This API endpoint is rate limited to 1 per 100 seconds, calling it more than that will get your IP address blocked for 10 hours.

Wallets and Accounts

Blockchains such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, BNB, TRON and USDT make use of the wallet address system while EOS, HIVE and STEEM make use of the account system.

When calling this API for accounts, parse the account name in place of the address.
